      I just resolved the identity of Paul Phaneuf's parents.
      Paul Phaneuf and Marie Louise Tallard's second daughter, Marie was born in Champlain in 1844 and baptized at St-Bernard-de-Lacolle, PQ.
      Her godparents were Julien Phaneuf & Emeline Hubert
      A Paul Phaneuf and Marie Louise Brosseau had a son, Paul, in 1809 and a son, Julien, born in 1812 -both born in L'Acadie.PQ.
      This is the only Julien Phaneuf born in Quebec between 1790 and 1820.
      Julien is Paul's brother and Paul Phaneuf and Marie Louise Brosseau are their parents.
