ANTOINE PHANEUF
Antoine Phaneuf, 83 Died at the home of his son, Antoine Jr. in Mooers early Monday, April 5, 1965
He was Born April 20, 1881, the son of Antoine Phaneuf and Laura Roy. He worked as a csrpenter at Sheridan Iron Works for over 40 years and retired in 1953.
He is survived by his wife, the former Alice Mesec of Champlain; four daughters, Mrs. Robert Barker of Buffalo, Mrs. Robert Clark of Plattsburgh, Mrs. Bernard Leahey and Mrs. Cleo Willette of Champlain; four sons, Antoine Jr. of Mooers, Richard, Albert and Thomas of Champlain; One brother, George Phaneuf of Perry's Mills; a sister Mrs. Frank Lafave of Beekmantown. There are also 26 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren
